Branding takes off

The Branding Commons has started to gain some traction after only a couple weeks in existence. Three of our bloggers — Merry Elrick, Paul Mlodzik, and Anders Gronstedt — have all contributed observations about the definition of “brand,” with Paul addressing the “customer experience” and Merry looking at “brand equity.” Specifically, Merry wonders about the ability to measure the value of a brand. Only one comment to these discussions so far, but it’s a great one from Kris Gallagher, who notes that DePaul University (her employer) has just completed three years of brand research.
